You can set up unlimited domains per TruInbox account (depending on your plan), and your email quota is shared between all those domains. So if you are on the 25$ monthly plan, your email quota of 50,000 emails per month is shared between the 5 domains on your account. There is no per-domain limit, you can split your quota however you want.

TruInbox will continue sending emails even if you go over your plan limit and bill you for overages accordingly. This is priced at just 1$ per 1000 additional emails and gets cheaper at higher volumes (1$ per 3000 emails on the Pro plan). The billing schedule typically starts on the 1st of the month after your free trial is over. So if you sign up on Jan 10th, your first bill will be for the month of March according to the plan you have selected.

The default DNS option provided by your domain registrar is usually a very bare-bones solution and not suitable for high-availability. Yes, many of our customers use their regular business email as the reply-to email address. Eg – you want to send emails from your domain “doggy.com” and you already have a working email ID petcare@doggy.com where you want customers to reply back. As long as your domain has the DNS settings that authorize TruInbox for email sending, both your inbound and outbound emails will work without any interruption.

Yes, definitely! Transactional emails can be sent through the TruInbox platform using our API call or via SMTP relay. For marketing emails, you can easily connect your Amazon SES account and send as many emails as your account permits. There is no limit on the number of contacts (or subscribers), and these emails will be sent via Amazon’s SES service. We also support MailGun / SendGrid accounts if you prefer those over SES.

Most mainstream domain registration services such as GoDaddy or NameCheap will let you update your DNS settings, or point your DNS zone file elsewhere. Alternatively, you can send outbound emails as a sub-domain of TruInbox and your emails will be signed by TruInbox. This option removes the need for complex DNS changes but still requires a one-time domain verification process which our support team will guide you through.
